Meet Andro
Andro, an occupational therapist, graduated from the University of Montreal with a professional master's degree in occupational therapy in December 2019. His passion lies in pediatric occupational therapy, and he currently works at the Laval School Services Center. Here, his primary role is to support school teams in promoting the well-being and independence of children in specialized classes, particularly those with ASD and other comorbidities. Additionally, Andro provides remote assistance to groups of children requiring language support and those living with mild intellectual disabilities.
Despite initially focusing on adult physical health for nearly four years, Andro made a conscious shift towards pediatric occupational therapy. He brings to his current role a wealth of experience, including an internship at a private children's clinic during his second year and a master's internship at CHU Sainte Justine, where he engaged with various clinics. Leveraging these experiences, along with his current involvement in the school environment, Andro dedicates himself to enhancing the well-being of children and their caregivers by addressing a myriad of occupational challenges they encounter.
