Speech-Language
Therapy
Speech language therapy is concerned with the management of disorders of speech, language, communication and swallowing in children and adults. Our Speech-language pathologists assess and develop an intervention plan based on evidence as well as client's needs in order to reduce the impact of language and communication difficulties in everyday life.
Occupational
Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists at Clinique AMI work with children (0-18) using a holistic approach to analyze why a child may be struggling to carry out specific tasks in their daily activities. More specifically in the areas of fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, sensory processing abilities, social and play development, as well as self-care skills.
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning and behaviour. ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviours that are helpful and decrease behaviours that are harmful or affect learning.
